Edvard Munch's 1895 lithographic version of his 1893 masterpiece, taken from Wikimedia Commons CC0 scan, framed and ready to hang.

The lithograph captures the moment Munch witnessed a sunset that turned the sky blood-red above Oslo — caused by volcanic ash from the 1883 Krakatoa eruption, though most viewers never learn that specific detail. The figure's mouth open to scream, the landscape twisted to match the inner state. Munch made this lithographic version to bring the vision into circulation beyond the single painted canvas. The scream is quieter on paper, somehow more terrible.

This is reproduced from a Wikimedia Commons CC0 archive scan at full resolution, printed on archival fine art paper and framed in solid wood.
