Egon Schiele's 1917 figure study, taken from Wikimedia Commons CC0 scan, on archival fine art paper.

Drawn in 1917, just a year before Schiele died of Spanish flu at 28, Seated Woman with Bent Knee demonstrates the raw power of his line. His work was repeatedly censored for "obscenity" — he served time in prison for it. The figure is contorted, uncomfortable, real. No idealization, no refuge in beauty. The body here is a fact, unsentimental. What survives Schiele's early death is this refusal to look away.

This is reproduced from a Wikimedia Commons CC0 archive scan at full resolution, printed on archival fine art paper, ready to hang.
