Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's 1891 lithograph, taken from the Art Institute of Chicago's CC0 high-resolution scan, on archival fine art paper.
Designed in Paris in 1891 for the Moulin Rouge cabaret, Moulin Rouge: La Goulue was Lautrec's first poster and the image that defined the art of modern advertising. La Goulue, the cancan dancer, sits at the foreground while the orchestra turns into abstract gesture. Bold colour, silhouette, Japanese influence.
This is reproduced from the Art Institute of Chicago's CC0 open-access scan at full resolution, printed on archival fine art paper, ready to hang.
